A Norwegian spruce cone flooded with tinted casting resin from Alumilite (known on the composites market as Alumilite resin).
Well processed, not too brittle, in the finished form on the handle looks absolutely amazing.
Requires a little flattening. Due to the peculiarities of the lump structure, it is difficult to kick all the air out of the resin even in a good vacuum, so in some dies inside there may be small small bubbles (very small).
It is sold in sets of dies 135/55/13 mm. 5,3”/2,1”/0,5” (2 pieces).
Dies can have a slight curvature. Reasons for this are still unknown (curvature can be obtained by them even after milling), but it can be easily eliminated by heating the dies to 80-90 degrees and clamping in a clamp. If necessary (e.g. by using a bump on curved spacers), they can be bent to a radius in the same way.
